The School will begin with admitting all applicants who meet one of the following requirements:
- applicants with international matura results;
- graduates of high schools abroad which are compatible to the American or British systems;
- applicants who received at least 50% at the matura finals in the advanced programs in at least one of the following subjects:
Marketing: English, Maths, Geography, History, Computer Science
Computer Science: English, Maths, Physic, Computer Science
Political Science: English, Polish, Geography, History, Social Studies Psychology: English, Polish, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, Maths, Computer Science, Social Studies
- applicants with the result of minimum 40% in the English language exam at the bilingual level (for graduates of bilingual schools or classes)
The remaining applicants will be admitted as the number of free places will allow for it in accordance with the limit set by the WSB-NLU Senat.
Language tests
Upon admission, applicants have to take a language test (grammar test, essay, conversation) qualifying at the language level suitable to start studying. Tests will be organized in June, July, August and September (there is a choice of dates at the time of submitting application forms). Language tests are taken by applicants who indicated the continuation of English language education in their application forms (Marketing applicants also another foreign language) and they are not graduates of high schools abroad which are compatible to the American or British systems, they are not taking the international matura exams and/or they have a CAE Certificate in Advanced English, or a CPE Certificate of Proficiency in English, or an FCE First Certificate in English with an A grade result. All individuals who have never studied English before do not take this test.
Marketing applicants take a test in English and another language of their individual choice.
Computer Science, Political Science and Psychology applicants take a test in English. From all applicants at Marketing, Ist level studies (Bachelor degree), IInd level studies (supplementary Master's degree), with English as the language of instruction, knowledge of English language equivalent to Business English as a Foreign Language - level 1 - according to the WSB-NLU program, is required. The test shown at this page presents the required minimum knowledge of the language, indispensable to qualify at the BEFL 1 level and it enables candidates to conduct the self-assessment of their own abilities. Graduates of high schools abroad which are compatible to the American or British systems, individuals taking the international matura exams and/or those with a CAE Certificate in Advanced English, or a CPE Certificate of Proficiency in English and an FCE First Certificate in English with an A grade result, are exempted from the exam.
Part-time Studies
The School does not organize admission exams. All applicants who will submit a set of documents for the limited number of applications will be accepted. Priority in submitting applications will govern.
