Institute of Research and Commercialization
Core activities
The Institute of Research and Commercialization of WSB-NLU Ltd. was established in March 2019 with the aim of collecting the know-how of the School of Business – National Louis University and using it to conduct research activities and their commercialization.
The primary activities of the Institute include:
- Conducting scientific research and development work in the field of natural and technical sciences (NACE code 72.19.Z), particularly in programming, virtual and augmented reality, and the use of modern technologies in education;
- Implementation and commercialization of R&D results.
In the area of R&D related to the Cloud Academy™ system, the Institute cooperates with the Research and Programming Center of WSB-NLU.
Within its activities, the Institute continuously collaborates with partners from various industries, including major IT companies such as Comarch, Microsoft, and Oracle.
Additional Activities
The institute also carries out additional activities in the following areas:
- IT services – collaboration with the Research and Programming Center of WSB-NLU;
- Development of reports, market research, and expert opinions in areas not related to ongoing R&D activities;
- Audits of processes and their IT coverage – collaboration with the Research and Programming Center of WSB-NLU;
- Specialized consulting services in the fields of IT, management, and psychology;
- Conducting various forms of continuous education.

- Members of the academic and teaching staff of WSB-NLU, including lecturers from the Jagiellonian University and AGH University of Science and Technology
- Representatives of cooperating universities, companies, and local government units working with WSB-NLU.
