Another Living Library in Nowy Sącz on August 8 – this time at the Pedagogical Provincial Library

This coming Saturday, August 8, 2026, we invite you to another meeting in the “Living Library” series. This time, the event will take place in a location that perfectly reflects its idea - the Pedagogiczna Biblioteka Wojewódzka w Nowym Sączu.

On that day, the library space will be filled not only with books, but above all with people and their stories. The Living Library is an opportunity to sit opposite another person, ask questions, listen to their experiences and look at the world from a slightly different perspective. Instead of a traditional book, participants “borrow” a Living Book – a person who shares their knowledge, passion, experiences and personal view of reality. This is the idea behind the entire series organized in Nowy Sącz on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of WSB-NLU.

During the upcoming edition of the Living Library, participants will be able to talk, among others, with:

• Maciej Weber,

• Jakub Bulzak,

• Agnieszka Dywan,

• Piotr Pancerz,

• Rusudan Dziadkowiec Diasamidze.

Each of these people will bring their own experiences, knowledge and perspective to the Living Library, creating a space for conversations that would be difficult to experience during a traditional meeting or lecture.

Come even for just a few minutes, there is no need to spend the whole day with us. You can drop in for a few minutes, choose the person whose story interests you most, sit down at one of the tables and simply talk. Living Library meetings take place in a relaxed atmosphere and provide a space for listening, asking questions, getting to know one another and breaking down stereotypes. Free coffee and sweet refreshments will be available to event participants, so during a conversation with a “Living Book” there will be an opportunity to stop for a moment, exchange impressions and simply spend time together.
