Business Breakfast “ScaleUP Academy” at WSB-NLU. Discussions on financing, investments and business development

Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu – National Louis University in Nowy Sącz invites entrepreneurs, business representatives and people interested in developing entrepreneurship to the “ScaleUP Academy” Business Breakfast.

On 22 September 2026, a special meeting dedicated to key issues related to business development, attracting investors and preparing companies for safe and conscious scaling of their operations will take place at NOVOCHILL – Student’s House WSB-NLU.

The event is organised by the Industrial Society in Tarnów and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Tarnów, in cooperation with the Nowy Sącz Chamber of Commerce. The host and partner of the event is Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu – National Louis University in Nowy Sącz, which actively supports initiatives integrating the academic community with the business sector and creating a space for exchanging knowledge, experience and building business relationships.

After the summer break, the Business Breakfast returns as a space for exchanging experiences, building business relationships and discussing current challenges faced by entrepreneurs. This time, the meeting will be held in Nowy Sącz and is addressed especially to entrepreneurs from the region who want to develop their companies, gain up-to-date knowledge and establish valuable business contacts.

The “ScaleUP Academy” Business Breakfast perfectly aligns with the objectives of the “University for Business” programme implemented by Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu – National Louis University, which aims to strengthen cooperation between the academic community and the business sector.

The programme provides a space for exchanging knowledge, experience and good practices between experts, entrepreneurs and representatives of various industries. The organised event is another example of WSB-NLU’s activities focused on actively supporting business development, entrepreneurship and building lasting relationships with the economic environment.

Financing, investors and business development – practical knowledge for entrepreneurs

During the meeting, participants will have the opportunity to discuss the most important aspects related to business development, including:

• opportunities for financing company growth,

• preparing a company to attract investors,

• tax aspects related to investment processes,

• legal conditions of cooperation with investors.

During the presentation, the most important tax issues related to attracting investors and preparing a company for the investment process will be discussed.

Participants will learn, among other things, about the importance of choosing the appropriate form of taxation, how to properly account for investments, what tax reliefs innovative companies can use and what tax risks may arise during negotiations and further company development.

The meeting will have a practical character and will provide an opportunity for direct discussion with the expert as well as exchanging experiences among participants.
