On October 11, 2024, Dr. Dariusz Wozniak, Rector of the Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu - National Louis University, was awarded the prestigious Medal of "Zasłużony dla Ziemi Sądeckiej". This unique award is presented once a year by the Nowy Sącz Council for outstanding achievements in social, cultural, economic or sporting activities that are of particular importance for the development and promotion of the city.

The award received by Dr. Dariusz Wozniak is a symbolic recognition of his long-term contribution to the development of the region and active promotion of the county on the national and international scene. The medal, 50 mm in diameter, is made of yellow metal and is suspended on a gold and red colored sash. The obverse of the medal depicts the coat of arms of the Nowy Sącz County and the inscription: „Rada Powiatu Nowosądeckiego – Zasłużony dla Ziemi Sądeckiej”. The reverse features the image of St. Kinga, the patroness of the Nowy Sącz.
