We are delighted to share information about the newly launched publication series „Management Insights: Lessons from Business Schools”, created as part of a collaboration between Financial Times and EFMD. The initiative, supported by the EFMD Centre for Human and Emotional Leadership (CHEL), highlights research from leading business schools and presents it in a way that is accessible, practical and relevant to today's leaders and organizations.

The series was developed to show how academic research can support real-world decision-making and help businesses respond to the challenges of a rapidly changing environment. EFMD member schools contribute knowledge and expertise that address key issues faced by modern organizations — from uncertainty and technological disruption to social responsibility and sustainable development.

The opening publication in the series “How to Lead When Rulebooks No Longer Apply”, focuses on leadership in times when traditional approaches are no longer sufficient. The authors analyze, among other topics:

  • resilience in global supply chains,
  • managing organizational change in uncertain environments,
  • crisis leadership and team resilience,
  • the impact of emerging technologies and digital platforms on organizations.

Available on the Financial Times platform, the publication presents research and expert perspectives from leading business schools, connecting the world of academia with management practice and creating real impact on business and society.
