The 5th BPM Symposium, held on September 6, 2024 at the Akademii Górniczo-Hutniczej in Kraków, Poland, is behind us. The event, part of the prestigious 22nd International Conference on Business Process Management, attracted business process management (BPM) professionals and enthusiasts from around the world. The symposium was full of thematic sessions that addressed issues related to the implementation of new technologies, process optimization and BPM education.
Our colleague Katarzyna Homoncik participated in this unique event. Katarzyna had the opportunity to participate in panels devoted to, among other things, the role of artificial intelligence in BPM, the implementation of Kaizen culture in organizations and the development of education in the area of process management. This meeting provided an excellent opportunity to share experiences, gain new perspectives and network with industry experts.
The event was also attended by WSB-NLU Rector Dr. Dariusz Wozniak, Krzysztof Hornik and Jaroslaw Bochenek. Their presence underscored the importance of this prestigious event for our university, and also influenced the development of our academic initiatives in the area of business process management.
We are glad that Katarzyna and the others represented our university at this prestigious symposium, which will surely bring many benefits to them and our entire academic community!
