Night of Researchers of Malopolska at the Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu - National Louis University 2024!

On September 27, 2024, the Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu - National Louis University in Nowy Sącz - turned into a vibrant center of scientific research, gathering science enthusiasts from the whole Malopolska. This year the Night of Researchers of Malopolska brought together over 1,300 participants who were able to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of experiments, research and workshops.
That evening, the university was filled with stands presenting the latest technologies, innovative solutions and interactive experiments. Everyone could find something interesting for themselves.
Among the most interesting workshops:

• Robotics and advanced technologies - participants had the opportunity to see industrial robots in action and get acquainted with an innovative method of laser manual welding. The workshop attracted particular attention from lovers of technology and automation.
• Experiments in laboratories - the university's scientific laboratories opened their doors, demonstrating experiments with liquid nitrogen, CO2, hydrogen, as well as experiments in the field of chemistry, optics and psychology. In scientific laboratories, participants were able to feel like real researchers, observing complex physical and chemical processes.
• Science Shows - spectacular demonstrations related to gas expansion and visual effects related to low temperatures were among the most visited workshops.
• Computer Game Development and ASG Technology - computer game enthusiasts could learn the secrets of their creation, while military equipment enthusiasts could see ASG equipment live and try their hand at the shooting range.
• World of Senses - the interactive exhibition "World of Senses" allowed participants to explore the mysteries of human perception, such as sight, hearing, touch, smell and the sense of three-dimensionality. It was a real journey into the world of fascinating optical illusions and sensory experiments.
• Virtual Reality and Police Stations - participants were able to try their hand at virtual reality (VR) and see how professional police equipment works.
• Entertainment for everyone - Silent Disco and an alpaca farm from El Salvador provided entertainment for both young people and families with children. These are just some of the attractions that awaited the participants of the Night of Researchers of Malopolska. The evening was also filled with three lectures that took place in the main auditorium of the university. The lectures covered digital electronics, logic circuit design, signal processing and the search for extraterrestrial life in the context of astronomy. The lectures were a great opportunity to deepen their knowledge and get inspired by the latest scientific discoveries.

The event began at 19:55 with the Rector's Golden Index award ceremony.
At 19:00, the grand opening of Dziecięcego Uniwersytetu I-go Wieku took place. This unique event brought together many young students who officially began their academic adventure. The program of Dziecięcego Uniwersytetu I-go Wieku for the 2024/2025 academic year promises to be no less interesting than the entertainment of the Night of Researchers of Malopolska, under the motto "Knowledge, creativity, development - the future starts today!" An evening full of exploration, fun and amazing experiences proved that science can be exciting and accessible to everyone, regardless of age.
