On Saturday, February 21, 2026, the largest lecture hall on the campus of Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu – National Louis University in Nowy Sącz was once again filled with children’s energy, curiosity, and the joy of discovering science. On that day, another session of the Children’s First Age University took place – a show and workshops entitled “Rocket Blast-Off.”

This meeting had special significance – we have already reached the halfway point of this year’s edition of the Children’s First Age University. Several inspiring sessions are behind us, and with each one we see growing engagement among participants, increasing confidence in experimenting, and plenty of insightful, curious questions that best demonstrate how effectively learning through experience works.

During the session, the youngest students first watched an impressive demonstration and then conducted experiments themselves, completing tasks related to rockets and the phenomena behind their “launch.” There was plenty of observation, testing, comparing results, and drawing conclusions – all in an atmosphere of great fun and teamwork.

The workshops developed creativity, logical thinking, and teamwork skills. There was no shortage of excitement, smiles, and satisfaction from their own experiments, and the largest lecture hall on campus once again became a space for fascinating discoveries.

We would like to thank all the young students and their parents for their presence, enthusiasm, and the time spent together. The next session takes place in two weeks – see you at the next meeting of the Children’s First Age University!
