On Saturday, December 14, 2024, the Children's University of the First Age hosted a special event full of attractions that will surely remain in the participants' memories for a long time. The program included inspiring presentations prepared by WSB-NLU students and Erasmus+ participants, culminating in a magical meeting with Santa Claus.

The first part of the event was a fantastic opportunity to embark on a journey through world cultures. WSB-NLU students and international Erasmus+ participants introduced children to the traditions, holidays, and customs of their home countries. The young attendees had the chance to see colorful traditional outfits, hear fascinating stories, and experience cultural diversity firsthand. The presentations were not just theoretical—interactive elements encouraged children to ask questions, engage in fun activities, and participate in conversations.

Next, as part of International Cooking Day, international students invited participants on a culinary adventure. The children watched how traditional dishes from different parts of the world were prepared and had the opportunity to taste them. Each dish had its own unique story, which the chefs eagerly shared with the young explorers. Notably, the event also had a charitable aspect—funds raised were donated to support the treatment and rehabilitation of Daria Biel, a beneficiary of the "Zdążyć z Pomocą" Foundation.

The highlight of the day was the long-awaited visit from Santa Claus. The children eagerly awaited the moment he would step into the auditorium, and when he finally appeared, their faces lit up with joy. Each participant received a special gift from Santa, and these moments were captured in photos that will serve as wonderful keepsakes.

This Saturday event combined learning, fun, and a festive atmosphere, emphasizing the mission of the Children's University of the First Age—to inspire curiosity, passion, and openness to the world among the youngest learners.
