During the 5th edition of “Coding Night” at the Electrical and Mechanical School Complex in Nowy Sącz, 14 teams faced the ambitious challenge of creating innovative applications in just one night. The event was held under the banner of fostering technological development and creativity among young programmers.
Participants could choose from three intriguing thematic areas:
- Supporting life on Mars,
- Psychoeducation and the development of positive mental habits,
- A virtual command center for military operations.
All participants showcased impressive creativity and advanced skills. However, the team localhost-2137 earned the highest recognition from the jury, emerging victorious with their innovative application for managing a Mars base. Their project included an oxygen level monitoring system, automated door-opening responses, and an intelligent entry/exit card system for the crew, all powered by artificial intelligence. This solution captivated both the jury and the audience.
Our institution was represented by mgr inż. Jarosław Bochenek, who served as a member of the jury evaluating the participants' projects. As an event partner, we are proud to have supported young creators in developing their technological talents and skills.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participants—your creativity and determination are an inspiration to the entire WSB-NLU community. We eagerly look forward to future editions of “Coding Night” and the continued success of young technology leaders!
