WSB-NLU Rector on the Role of Education in Business Development – Participation in the Małopolska Entrepreneurs’ Forum

The Małopolska Entrepreneurs’ Forum is an initiative that originated from a popular column of the same name, regularly published in Dziennik Polski – an influential regional newspaper highly regarded for its reliability and widely cited opinions. Since 2014, the Forum has been organizing cyclical spring and autumn conferences devoted to key economic and social issues relevant to the development of entrepreneurship in the region. Today, the Forum serves as a modern platform for exchanging experiences, ideas, and knowledge, bringing together experts in economics, law, and taxation, as well as representatives of public administration and academia.

On June 13, 2025, the 23rd edition of this prestigious event took place, with Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu – National Louis University proudly serving as a partner of the conference.

One of the main highlights of the event was a discussion panel titled “Inspiration: Education as a Driving Force for Business”, featuring Dr. Dariusz Woźniak, Professor at WSB-NLU and Rector of the University. Alongside representatives from the academic and business sectors, he discussed how modern higher education can effectively support the development of entrepreneurship and how universities can better respond to the real needs of the labor market.

The panel, moderated by Prof. Dr. Hab. Sławomir Śmiech, also featured:

The participation of the WSB-NLU Rector in such a distinguished panel confirms the University’s active role in shaping the relationship between academia and business.
