Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu – National Louis University in Nowy Sącz has been honored with the prestigious title of Symbol of Science and Business Synergy 2024, awarded by the Chapter of the Symbol Program. This recognition highlights the university's pivotal role in creating innovative solutions that bridge academia and business practices while shaping future leaders of the economy.
The award ceremony took place on November 22 during the 14th Final Gala of the Symbol Program, held in the elegant interiors of the Monopol Hotel in Katowice. The award for WSB-NLU was accepted by Dr. Dariusz Woźniak, the university's rector, who also represented WSB-NLU in a discussion panel titled "Innovation 4.0 – How to Transfer Scientific Achievements to the Market and Handle Technological Innovations."
The debate, which included participants such as Dr. Hab. Eng. Marek Warzecha, Rector of the Częstochowa University of Technology; Dr. Eng. Magdalena Letun-Łątka from the Silesian University of Technology; and Jerzy Zieliński, CEO of Kolabo Group Sp. z o.o., addressed topics such as technology transfer, research commercialization, and the application of artificial intelligence in economic transformation. The discussion emphasized the importance of effective innovation management and its widespread implementation in the economy.
