Run 4 a Smile - a charity run for a smile with WSB-NLU students
How much can you help by doing really little? This is what the students of the Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu - National Louis University in Nowy Sącz find out every year. The Run 4 a Smile event is organized by them - Run with us for a Smile - each and every edition ends with a huge success in helping those who need it most. For years, the main partner of the event has been the SURSUM CORDA Association.
What it is Run 4 a Smile ?
The first edition of Run 4 a Smile was organized in 2014. Although initially not even 200 students took part in it, each year there have been more and more participants. It is a charity project that is carried out by an international group of WSB-NLU students in Nowy Sacz. However, it is not only running for sporting purposes. The main goal of Run 4 a Smile is to raise money to help selected wards of the SURSUM CORDA Association. Thanks to this charity event, we have already managed to support needy children 7 times.
What are the goals of the Run 4 a Smile project?
In addition to the main goal of supporting those in need, the Run 4 a Smile project also carries out other missions, such as:
- presenting Nowy Sącz as an international city, open to various cultures;
- spreading the idea of helping people in need and spreading social attitudes to those in favor among the residents and residents of Nowy Sącz;
- promoting tourist and cultural attractions of Nowy Sącz;
- promoting an active, healthy and safe way of spending free time among children and adults;
- improving practical skills in the field of project management among WSB-NLU students.
How to get involved in the project?
If you want to be a part of the event and run with us for a smile, sign up, together we can do more!
You can get involved in:
- looking for sponsors, acquiring, packaging and issuing prizes, organizing the raffle
- you may also help on the run route, organize games and activities for the youngest, promote the run in social media, or coordinate the participants
.... and have fun at the same time.!
