Welcome to the Children's University of the 1st Age!

Recruitment for the 2018/2019 academic year is underway!

The academic community of Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu - National-Louis University invites children aged 6-12 from the Sądecczyzna region to the Children's University of the 1st Age. It is already another academic year, and it will include many inspiring meetings with interesting and valuable people who will passionately share their knowledge and experience with the young students.

The aim of the project is to stimulate cognitive activity, popularise knowledge, maintain curiosity about the world and encourage the search for one's own passions, through the participation of children in interesting lectures and workshops.

Lecture classes are held once a month, usually on Saturday mornings, in the assembly halls of the WSB-NLU, at ul. Zielona 27 in Nowy Sącz. The lectures are open to all registered participants of the First Age University. The lecture duration is approximately 60 minutes. On the schedule this academic year:

20 October - Inauguration of the 2018/2019 academic year

22 November - Mini Power of IT multimedia show

08 December - International Cooking Day and 'Santa stories'.

12 January - On the trail of Asterix and Obelix. Who were the real Celts?

February - How to become a famous YouTuber.

March - Electromobility is our future.

April - Don't be afraid of adventure.

May - It's worth helping! Run4aSmile - the international run for a smile.

June - lecture and closing ceremony of the academic year.

A detailed timetable will be provided once enrolment has closed.

The registration fee of PLN 50 for the whole year - will be used entirely for the organisation of workshops/lectures for children.
