Recruitment Procedure - Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu - National-Louis University
Before starting the recruitment process, make sure you have obtained the decision of the NAWA Director (if required) and document confirming your proficiency in the language of instruction at a minimum B2 level.
The standard admission process for the first year of studies at WSB-NLU consists of the following steps:
1. Registration for studies takes place through the Recruitment portal available on our WSB-NLU website - in the upper right corner, the Join us tile.
2. In the first step, you need to create an account on the admissions portal - click "Sign up – Create an account". Applicants who already have an account may use the "Log in" option.
3. After gaining access to the portal, you should:
- Select the type of admission: "Standard admission" or "Admission with transfer of grades"
- Complete the application form with your personal data (menu "My data" on the left)
- Select the field of study and specialization (menu "Recruitment" on the left)
- Check that all data in the application form are correct
- Upload the required documents (menu "Required documents" on the left)
- Sign the documents electronically using a qualified electronic signature, an electronic personal signature in the mObywatel app, or the Trusted Profile. Instructions for signing documents:

Monitor the status of your admission (menu "My applications" on the left).
4. All information regarding your admission status will be sent via notifications, e-mails, and through the admissions portal.
5. Instructions for candidates who do not have a PESEL number:
If you do not have a PESEL number, please print and sign by hand the following documents in the Recruitment Portal:
a. When applying for the first semester:
• Application form
• Student’s Oath
• Student’s Statement/Declaration
b. When applying for admission to a semester higher than the first year:
• Application form
• Student’s Oath
• Student’s Statement/Declaration
• Application for admission to a semester higher than the first
c. If you are applying for a program that also requires submitting a Qualification Statement:
• Print and sign by hand the Qualification Statement
After signing all required documents, scan them and upload them in the Admissions Portal in the appropriate sections under Required documents.
6. Additional requirements for international students:
a) Recognition of Your Education by NAWA
You must obtain a decision issued by the Director of NAWA confirming the recognition of your previous education:
* **secondary school certificate** – if you are applying for bachelor’s or long-cycle master’s studies,
* **higher education diploma** – if you are applying for supplementary master’s studies.

b) Language Proficiency Certificate
You must provide a certificate confirming your command of the language of instruction at the B2 level.

c) In addition, you will be required to pass an entrance exam organized by the university.

Documents required for first-cycle studies:
- Application form
- Student`s declaration and student`s oath
- 1 color photo (3.5cm x 4.5 cm)
- Original secondary school-leaving certificate or its duplicate -the document must be apostilled by consulate and translated into Polish by a sworn translator. Both the certificate and the apostille must be translated.
- English language certificate - confirmation of language proficiency at minimum B2 level.
- Confirmation of payment: recruitment fee (300 EUR) + tuition fee in advance ( for the first year of study)

From 1 July 2025, foreign candidates holding secondary school leaving certificates from systems not recognized in Poland (e.g. outside the EU, OECD, EFTA, or without an IB or EB diploma) are required to pass an entrance examination.
All the above documents MUST be translated by a sworn translator into Polish or English.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 15:00.
Documents required for second-cycle studies
- Application form
- Student`s declaration and student`s oath
- 1 color photo (3.5cm x 4.5 cm)
- Diploma of completing 1st degree studies - the document must be apostilled and translated by a sworn translator into Polish or English. Both the diploma and the apostille must be translated.
- English language certificate - confirmation of language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
- Payment confirmation- recruitment fee 300 EUR + tuition fee in advance ( for the first year of study)

Important information about documents
For foreign students applying for Bachelor, Engineering or Master degree programs, the decision of Director of NAWA is mandatory. The decision of the Director of NAWA is not required for candidates from the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, Ireland, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Canada, Korea, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, Germany, Norway, New Zealand, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, United States, Hungary, Great Britain, Italy, Colombia, Costa Rica.

Certificate confirming proficiency in the language of instruction
An important part of recruitment process for full-time studies is the language placement test which determines the appropriate language level at which the student will begin their studies. Candidates applying for programs conducted entirely in English are required to demonstrate English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level, according to the Council of Europe scale (intermediate level).

Fees
Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu - National-Louis University is a non-state university. However, its students and candidates may apply for various grants and tuition discounts that fully or partially cover the costs of studies. Each year, approximately 45% of students receive some form of financial support, and nearly 20% study completely free of charge.
- The amounts provided in the tables refer to annual tuition fees.
- Recruitment fee: 300 EUR
- Important! Candidates who apply for a visa must pay the annual tuition fee in advance.
