Recruitment procedure
Recruitment Procedure - Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu - National-Louis University
- If you want to become our student, please browse the website and choose the major you intend to study. See the set of documents that need to be filled out before you start recruitment procedure.
- Once you have decided which faculty you want to study, use the recruitment portal: https://rekrutacja-wsb-nlu.clouda.edu.pl/Identity/Account/Register
- Use the button Sign Up and enter the recruitment portal after entering your first name, surname, e-mail and creating a password, then click on ‘Create an account’
- You are now redirected to the ‘My Data’ tab. At this level you will need to complete the following data:
- Enter your personal data, contact details and add a photo
- fill in the address
- provide identification documents
- add your educational background
- fill in the languages you know
- give your consent to the conclusion of the contract and to the sending of emails with information to you
- The consent is voluntary but necessary for the conclusion of the contract
- check the data you provided for recruitment
- Select the appropriate studies in ‘My Applications’ tab.
- Move to the ‘Required Documents’ tab and complete all required documents except the fee.
- Within 7 working days you will receive an email from us regarding the tuition fees. (conditional acceptance letter)
- Before paying you need to confirm your English B1 level. You can do it in several ways:
- present an international IELTS or TOEFL certificate
- present a certificate of completion from a university or school in English
- pass the language exam at our university
You do not need to prove your English language proficiency if the official language of your country is English
- After passing the language test, you will have to pay the fees ( see point 7*)
- The set of documents related to the visa procedure will be issued and sent via CloudA (e-delivery tab) within 7 working days.
- After receiving the visa and arriving in Poland, you should report to Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu – National Louis University based in Nowy Sącz ( 27C Zielona St., room 002C ) to arrange formal matters and provide missing documents.

Documents required for first-cycle studies:
- Application form
- Student`s declaration and student`s oath
- 1 color photo (3.5cm x 4.5 cm)
- Original secondary school-leaving certificate or duplicate -the document must be apostilled by consulate and translated into Polish by a sworn translator (both documents, secondary school-leaving certificate and apostille should be translated)
- English language certificate - confirmation of language skills - at least B1 level
- Confirmation of payment: recruitment fee (300 EUR) + tuition fee in advance ( for the first year of study)
ATTENTION!
Since the moment of arrival to the University Students has 4 months for nostrification process.
The nostrification of documents is the responsibility of the Ministry od Education in Poland.
Documents required for nostrification:
- a list of grades obtained during the secondary school-leaving exam,
- a list of subjects implemented within the framework of education,
- the contents of the education,
- the program and the scale of grades,
- certificate of entitlement to continue education
The above documents MUST be translated by a sworn translator into POLISH.
The condition for obtaining a student ID card is to provide a complete set of documents subjected to the nostrification process.

Documents required for second-cycle studies
- Application form
- Student`s declaration and student`s oath

- Diploma of completing 1st degree studies - document must be apostilled and translated by a sworn translator into English/Polish (both documents, diploma and apostille should be translated)
- English language certificate - confirmation of language skills - at least B1 level
- Payment confirmation- recruitment fee 300 EUR + first installment of tuition fee
Important information about documents
For foreign students at the Bachelor and Engineering level, nostrification is mandatory. The complete set of documents for nostrification can be found on the website of the Board of Education in Cracow: https://kuratorium.krakow.pl/recognition-of-certificate-issued-abroad-2/
Nostrification is not required for students from the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Bulgaria, Chile, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, Ireland, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Canada, Korea, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, Germany, Norway, New Zealand, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, United States, Hungary, Great Britain, Italy, Colombia, Costa Rica. However, apostille and translation by a sworn translator into English/Polish is required.
A diploma with an apostille and translation by a sworn translator into English/Polish is required for foreign students at Master’s degree.
Fees
Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu - National-Louis University is a non-state university, however, its students and candidates may apply for various grants and fee discounts, which fully or partially cover the studying costs. Each year around 45% of students receive some kinds of grants, and nearly 20% of them study completely free of charge.
- The amount given in the tables concerns annual payment.
- Student fees can be paid in 10 monthly installments.
- Recruitment fee: 300 EUR
- Important! Candidates who apply for a visa must pay a year tuition fee in advance!

Language Placement
For full-time students
An important element of recruitment for full-time studies is a test of language skills which qualifies for the appropriate language level from which the student will start studying. Candidates for studies conducted entirely in English are required to acquire a level of English corresponding to a minimum level B1 according to the Council of Europe scale (intermediate).
You can do it in several ways:
- present an international IELTS or TOEFL certificate
- present a certificate of completion from a university or school in English
- pass the language exam at our university
- within 7 days we will provide you with a link to the standardized written test indicating your level of English
- a link to the video oral exam with teacher
Important! You do not need to prove your English language proficiency if the official language of your country is English.
A candidate who does not meet the B1 level will be admitted to preparation year.
