10th Jubilee Polish Entrepreneurship Congress
The event taking place at the ICE Congress Centre in Krakow is behind us, bringing with it a rich variety of topics and inspiring discussions. It has been ten years since the Congress became one of the most important economic events in the country, and this year's edition did not disappoint, attracting representatives of science, business, local government and public administration.
This year's congress featured a number of discussions with distinguished guests and panellists.
On 13 November prof. Dariusz Woźniak, Ph.D. Rector of the WSB-NLU took part in a panel discussion "NO FUTURE WITHOUT MODERNITY" together with such persons as Katarzyna Strzała-Osuch, Ph.D., Rector of the Powiśle Higher School, Gabriela Konopka-Cupiał, Ph, representative of the Agreement of Academic Technology Transfer Centres, Dr. Wojciech Topczewski, Director of the Technology and Knowledge Transfer Centre at the Karkonosze Academy of Applied Sciences, Mr. Rafał Poniewski, Deputy Director of the Department of Regional Development, Office of the Marshal of the Małopolska Region, Dr. hab. Prof. Józef Ciuła, Vice-Rector for Science and Development, Academy of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz, and Ms Magdalena Letun-Łątka, Director of the Centre for Incubation and Technology Transfer, Silesian University of Technology.The panel, which included the Rector of WSB-NLU, addressed key issues related to knowledge and technology transfer in the academic environment, cooperation between science and business, training as an investment in employees, and ways to attract students to the university.
The Polish Entrepreneurship Congress is not only a place to exchange ideas and experiences, but also a platform for establishing valuable business and scientific contacts. Numerous networking sessions are held during the Congress, allowing participants to build relationships and work together for the development of Polish entrepreneurship.
Also during the 10th Jubilee Polish Entrepreneurship Congress, Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu - National Louis University in Nowy Sącz was honoured with the prestigious 'Competitiveness Leader' award. This significant award highlights the university's contribution to the development of competitiveness and innovation in Polish higher education. The award demonstrates the commitment and high quality of education offered by the university, which has a significant impact on staff development and contributes to the country's economic potential.
