WSB-NLU received a distinction in the IBUK Libra competition for a significant increase in resources in the digital library.
On April 20, 2023, in Browary Warszawskie at ul. Grzybowska 56, a solemn Academy of Library Directors was held, organized on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the IBUK Libra platform. Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu - National Louis University (WSB-NLU) was awarded during this event, taking first place for the largest increase in IBUK Libra resources of Wydawnictwo PWN. The university was represented by dr Maria Sidor prof. WSB-NLU, director of the WSB-NLU library.
The Academy was full of touching moments, as many library directors have been associated with IBUK Libra for years. The program also included a discussion panel on the future of digital libraries and an inspiring lecture by Janina Bąk entitled “What do a counting horse and the airport in Radom have in common? That is, how to use the mathematical sense to fight fake news. The whole ceremony was hosted by editor Marcin Antosiewicz.
This extremely important award for WSB-NLU proves the university's commitment to the development of educational resources and the promotion of modern technologies in education.
