From June 21 to July 2, 2023, the 3rd European Games Krakow - Małopolska will take place.
Almost 8,000 volunteers will support the organizers in their activities, so that the most important European sports event of 2023 will be an extraordinary and unforgettable event. Volunteers will help us in many areas, both during and during the preparations for this great event. Volunteers will work in as many as 11 cities: Kraków, Tarnów, Zakopane, Nowy Targ, Krzeszowice, Krzeszowice, Oświęcim, Wrocław, Chorzów, and Krynica Zdrój, Nowy Sącz.
We encourage students of the Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu - National Louis University to participate in volunteering, in particular in activities related to the organization of the following disciplines:
Krynica-Zdrój:
- Mountain biking (Olympic qualifications, European Championships) – Góra Parkowa
- Mountain running (curriculum discipline) – Góra Parkowa
- Judo (Olympic qualifiers, European Team Championships) – Krynica-Zdrój Arena
- Taekwondo (Olympic qualifications) – Krynica-Zdrój Arena
Nowy Sącz:
- Breaking (Olympic qualifiers) – Park Strzelecki
We are looking for volunteers who will join i.a. to departments related to: Accreditation Centre, Media Centers, with support for logistics, transport, assistants of the National Olympic Committees, volunteers for sports zones, information volunteers and support for other organizational activities.
We expect a proactive attitude of commitment and availability from our volunteers. We are looking for people with a positive attitude and full of energy, it will be in your hands to create the unique atmosphere of the Games.
Participants and fans from all over Europe will come to this celebration of sport, which is why we want communicative volunteers who know foreign languages. Volunteering will be an extraordinary opportunity for international and intergenerational integration and the opportunity to gain unique experience in co-creating the largest sports event that our country has hosted so far.
Take part in the recruitment process for volunteering at the European Games 2023.
Volunteers will go through a two-stage recruitment process. The first step is to register on the volunteer portal. Confirm your email and proceed to filling out the application form. We will ask you for basic personal data, choosing the city in which you want to volunteer and what foreign languages you know. We will ask you about your motivations, skills, experience and availability, as well as the department in which you would like to fulfill yourself as a volunteer.
Selected people will be invited to online recruitment interviews via the volunteer's portal. We will talk about your application, check your knowledge of foreign languages and help you choose a volunteer department that will best suit your profile.
You can fill out the application form via the Volunteer Portal - recruitment interviews will last until the end of April - when we will announce the recruitment results. We will select a group of volunteers and leaders from among the candidates. Volunteers will be assigned to departments and tasks related to 27 sports competitions in several different cities, in several dozen locations.
After confirming your participation in volunteering, we will invite you to a series of trainings - online general and stationary training. Volunteer leaders will additionally take part in the Academy of Volunteer Leaders, where they will focus on improving their communication skills and team management skills. Based on your availability, we will create a roster schedule to ensure the efficient organization of all activities.
Before the activities, you will receive a volunteer starter pack and a personal accreditation. We provide volunteers with:
- Outfit (including: T-shirts, jacket, cap)
- gadgets useful in volunteering
- insurance,
- food,
- free public transport,
- for volunteers from outside the host cities it is possible to allocate accommodation.
