During the forum, guests from various fields discussed the role of managers in a world changed by pandemics and evolving technology. They pointed out the importance of communication skills, the diversity of teams, as well as the new competences required of managers in the 21st century. The Forum was also an opportunity to present awards in the Małopolska Manager of the Year competition. The laureates were awarded for effective company management, achieving good economic results, as well as for sensitivity to social needs, supporting local initiatives and promoting sustainable development.
The title of Małopolska Manager of the Year 2022 in the category of micro and small enterprises was awarded to:

and honoured were:
- Damian Jarosz, President of the Management Board of TST Group Polska
- Julia Bogdanowicz, Managing Director of Westa Investments Group S.A.
The title of Malopolska Manager of the Year 2022 in the medium-sized enterprises category was awarded to:
Łukasz Słoniowski, Vice-President of Krakowski Park Technologiczny Sp. z o. o.
and the honourable mentions were:
- Dr Kazimierz Koprowski, President of the Regional Environmental Protection and Water Management Fund in Krakow
- Dr Dariusz Woźniak, Rector of the Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu - National Louis University, based in Nowy Sącz
The title of Malopolska Manager of the Year 2022 in the large enterprises category was awarded to:
Radosław Włoszek, President of the Management Board of Jan Paweł II Kraków-Balice International Airport Ltd.
and the commended were:
- Paweł Pichniarczyk, Ph.D., Director of the Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials
- Ryszard Florek, Chairman of the FAKRO Management Board
- Janusz Komurkiewicz, FAKRO Marketing Board Member
The 19th edition of the Forum of Malopolska Entrepreneurs provided not only a platform for discussion, but also a place to share ideas and experiences, while supporting the economic development of the region. During the event, a debate entitled 'Time for Professionals' was held, in which our Pro-Dean, Dr Michał Mółka, took part. As always, the event is on the calendar of important business meetings in Poland, integrating activists from all significant economic organisations.
