Students of the Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu - National Louis University stood on the podium of the European Academic Kickboxing Championships!
The kickboxing championships were held in the Croatian capital of Zagreb. Our students - members of the EVAN Academic Sports Club registered in a four-person line-up: Jakub Zagórski cat.71kg full contact, Bartłomiej Oriański cat.81kg full contact, Marcin Galos cat.+84kg kick light and coach Krzysztof Bulanda. They were the only representatives of the Małopolska schools to return with a shield, winning two bronze medals (Marcin Galos and Bartłomiej Oriański). The success was all the more impressive as they all combine student life with their passion for sport. Every day they have to balance demanding classes at university with intensive training, which requires great discipline and dedication.
From our competitors we would like to thank the authorities of the Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu - National Louis University, Muszynianka sp. z o.o., Grupa Grand sp. z o.o, SP Piwniczanka, the Saol Hotel in Krynica and the Mint of Nowy Sącz, without their support the trip to the competition would not have been possible.
