„contemporary sexology in the face of diversity”
On the last weekend of October, the Scientific Conference of the Polish Society of Sexology, "COOPERATIVE SEXOLOGY IN THE FACE OF DIVERSITY", was held in Warsaw. Of great interest at this year's Conference was the Poster Session, where from among the submitted abstracts from Polish and Foreign Scientific Centres, the Conference Scientific Committee selected 27 posters to be presented to scientists at the Conference.
The results of their research were published in this form by, among others, Prof. Błażej Misiak, Prof. Jose Guzman-Parra and Prof. Joanna Dec-Piotrowska. We are pleased to announce that Łukasz Prochnij from the WSB-NLU was also the only student in this group to present his research on the 'Jocasta complex as a transference reduction of libido in modern society.
The PTS Scientific Conference brought together in one place, eminent international specialists in the field of sexology. Among them were Prof. Zbigniew Lew Starowicz, Prof. Maria Beisert, Prof. Zbigniew Izdebski and Prof. Bartosz Grabski. On the last day of the Conference, the results of the Poster Session Competition were announced. A huge surprise was the Audience Award given by Conference participants for the best poster, which went to Łukasz Prochnij, a fourth-year psychology student from WSB-NLU.
The Audience Award is always the most valuable, as it indicates the need, direction and importance of further research for science in the awarded topic.
Coming soon in the series 'WSB-NLU after hours', you will be able to find out more about the results of this research. In the meantime, we invite you to the article 'The Jocaste complex as a transference reduction of libido in modern society:
