Emerging Markets Information Service (EMIS) is a web-based service with information on more than 80 emerging markets around the world👌
👉EEMIS is a system through which we gain quick access to hard-to-reach information, including relevant news, reports and data on emerging markets.
👉It provides full texts from daily newspapers, trade journals, agency texts, financial statements of public and non-public companies and industry analyses and reports.
👉KInformation on companies, stock market quotations, statistics and data on specific sectors of economies and macroeconomic data can also be used.
The module on Poland provides access to extensive archives since 1995, including full texts of articles, magazines such as Puls Biznesu, Rzeczpospolita, Parkiet, Gazeta Wyborcza, Financial Times, BBC Monitoring, Rynki Zagraniczne, Businessman, BusinessWeek, Gazeta Bankowa, Gazeta Prawna, Newsweek, Wprost, Computerworld, Gazeta MSP, CXO-Magazyn Menadżerów.
WSB-NLU students can access the EMIS database through CloudA Virtual Lab or directly in the University library - tab Online databases.
