Tuition fee refund process

Tuition fee refund process in Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu (WSB-NLU) in Nowy Sącz 

International students who apply for a visa or a Polish resident card (temporary or permanent) are required to pay the tuition fee for the entire academic year, along with a registration fee of 300 EUR. If a visa application is rejected and the student is therefore unable to begin or continue studies, the student must immediately submit a resignation from  studies through the CloudA system (tab: APPLICATIONS) and attach official confirmation of visa refusal. In such cases, the tuition fee will be refunded in full while the registration fee (300 EUR) is non-refundable.

If a student fails to submit the resignation application within two weeks after receiving the visa refusal, the refund case will be considered individually by the University Chancellor.


If confirmation of visa refusal is not provided, the tuition fee will be divided into 10 installments and 1/10 of the annual fee will be deducted for each month.


If a student applies for a refund before the start of the academic year, the tuition fee will be refunded in full, while the registration fee remains non-refundable.


If a student did not apply for a visa, but still resigns from studies, the tuition fee will also be divided into 10 parts, with 1/10 of the annual fee deducted for each month.


The review and decision process regarding resignation and refund takes up to 90 days from the date of submission of all required documents. In cases where a student has made a mistake in the data for refund, the university is not responsible for this. The University is not responsible for any refund delays or errors resulting from incorrect banking information provided by the student.

Documents required for a refund

  • Application "resignation from studies"
  • Completed refund form
  • Confirmation of visa refusal or another document confirming the inability to continue studies

Please note:

The tuition fee refund process takes up to 90 days from the date of submission of a complete set of documents.

How to apply for resignation from studies

  • Log in to CloudA using your student account.
  • On the left side menu, select the "Applications" tab and click New application.
  • Choose the " resignation from studies" template, fill in the required fields and indicate the reason for resignation.
  • Click "save".
  • Print the completed application, sign it and send it to the Dean's Office at: ul. Grunwaldzka 17, 33-300 Nowy Sącz, Poland

Your application will be reviewed within 30 days from the date the signed hard copy is received by the Dean's Office.
